As a creative outlet from her day job in finance, Jayne Gold started experimenting with candles searching for the perfect balance - one that smelled amazing but also was gentle on the Earth.  Drawing inspiration from her own name and the allure of gold, Jayne founded OURO, a candle brand that would captivate the senses and illuminate spaces in every home. 

OURO was built on a mission to create the cleanest burning candle, while never compromising quality and the most gorgeous scents.  Committed to creating a truly clean experience, we carefully select only the finest natural ingredients and fragrances, free from harmful chemicals and additives.  Our candles are crafted using high-quality coconut wax, known for its clean-burning properties that emit minimal soot, phthalate free fragrances sourced from all around the world, and all natural cotton, lead-free wicks. Not only do our ingredients help move the needle towards sustainability, but our packaging follows suit with recyclable packaging and low waste manufacturing. OURO is always looking to do what we can to make the best product we can, while still respecting our beautiful earth we call home.
